HISTORY

Zahrina’s photographic business began 10 years ago in Sydney, and has grown into an established business through referral from many business associates and industry contacts. Having a strong interest in candid photography, Zahrina’s fresh approach, produces highly sought after stylish imagery.

Her photographic work takes her to national and international destinations (and all over Sydney!) which has had a great influence in her imagery today. Aside from work for her regular corporate clients, her editorial and freelance photographic work covers, portraiture, famous people, special events, weddings, beauty, interiors, landscape and music.

Photography was a passion of her father’s and commencing at primary school, she, through observation, learnt photography from him - these formative experiences paving the way for a career in photography and cementing her passion for photography forever.

From twenty-two years old, she has been involved in a number of photographic exhibitions and along the way she met regularly with famous photographers such as Lewis Morley and Des Crawley.

These experiences heightened her early passion for taking photos and her ambition to work as a photographer and culminated in studies at the Australian Centre for Photography, Paddington, Sydney. In 2001, Zahrina was awarded a Nikon Portrait–Finalist prize for her depiction of an Indian Holyman and she has recently held two acclaimed exhibitions “Australian Icons” and “On the Water’s Edge”.

Now firmly established as a professional photographer based in Sydney, her love for capturing the moment has given rise to her specializing in portraiture and event photography, capturing the spirit of people and the essence of her clients.
